1949 Classic Suburban
When you say the words “Suburban Limo”, nothing sexy really comes to mind. When we approached the original owner of this vehicle about our vision, he nearly threw us out on our heads. “YOU WANT TO DO WHAT WITH THIS CAR?” After a little convincing and confidence building, we grabbed the keys and off we went.

Original Chassis
The photos you are seeing are actual images of the vehicle before our conversion. This original 1949 classic Suburban came equipped with a 502 Big Block Chevy engine, turbo 400 transmission, Ride Pro Air Ride suspension, Billet Specialty custom rims and chrome everywhere. The original owner, Allen Langston built this beauty from ground up making it a feature ride in several magazines across the country. Its final restoration appraised at over $95,000.

CHOP, CHOP!!!!
Chopping a vehicle like this hurts just a bit. Our vision was to keep the original luster created by Allen except with an additional 140” added to the chassis. Considering it only came with two front doors, we needed to add a little flair of limousine manufacturing of our own. We’ve incorporated two rear hydraulic actuated wing doors operated with remote. We’ve also decided to keep the original hard top look which set us back a few extra weeks for body work. We intend to keep the custom color scheme with true flames. Once completed, it will be one of the only Suburbans like it in the world.

Manufacturing Challenge
Anytime you manufacture a one-off limousine, it’s always a challenge. To keep the original lines is an art form. We spent additional time determining window placement, door location and ceiling to floor dimensions. As a limo manufacture, we had to determine the overall strength of the frame and apply additional support where needed. Lastly, we upgraded both axles and modified the original drive shaft.
